Failed nose job and breast augmentation. Mette Haga made too large a pocket for the implants so that the bag got under the implants, was told that this was completely normal. Came for inspection after complaining and then she would not admit that the pocket was cut too large, only that this was something she could solve by sewing it in. I had another procedure done in February at another clinic, which then removed the implants I had received - the clinic itself uses motiva, but they had never seen similar motiva implants as the one they removed from me. I had 355cc at Mette's and now got 500cc to fill in the pocket that was created at the Academy Clinic. Very arrogant and not customer friendly. Do not recommend anyone!... (Show more)

I had surgery with Mette, and I cannot explain how satisfied I am. She is the very best, I can highly recommend her. Several of my friends have also gone to Mette, and they are all very satisfied. The most skilled surgeon who also follows you up so well afterwards. 👏🏻

I advise against treatment at the Academy Clinic. My personal experience and medical treatment performed by Dr. Mette Haga is not satisfactory. Over a year later, I am left with great pain, complications and asymmetry. Follow-up during and after treatment has been very unsatisfactory, and the case had to be handled by Rikshospitalet to rectify the lack of follow-up. Mette Haga, I can't thank you enough! I was terrified of going under the knife, so I wanted to make sure I went to the best of the best in breast surgery. Then I naturally inquired with the experienced patients who, for better or for worse, had come across several different doctors who performed, among other things, breast operations. Then I was immediately recommended to Mette Haga, who was exactly what I was looking for - the best of the best in breast surgery, and learned that women came from far away, that is, from all over Norway, also from abroad, to have their breast surgery done at precisely Mette Haga. I booked a consultation appointment with Mette. Here I must first of all say; FOR a warm welcome from both those at reception and Mette. I felt like an honored guest when I entered the reception. Mette is honest, skilled and extremely dedicated to her job. She explains in detail which solutions she is thinking of to meet my wishes as best as possible for my starting point, and has a great focus on the solutions being safe and secure for the patient from the starting point. To put it that way, I had a starting point where, in my opinion, my skin was, so to speak, in pieces. It was thin, and with so many stretch marks that I can't possibly believe there was more elasticity in it. In order to get my breasts properly proportioned for my body, I chose, in consultation with Mette, that the wisest thing for me was to have both a breast lift with implants. Then with implants with air bubbles in them that didn't weigh as much as many other implants, to spare my skin more weight, as I would have liked to have fullness. When the surgery date came, I was again warmly welcomed. I felt so looked after and in the safest of hands. The entire clinic really provides a completely unique and fantastically good service. When I woke up from the anaesthetic, and eventually got to see the result, I was so shocked and positively surprised. I knew I had chosen the best doctor, but I also knew that I had a starting point that I myself thought was extremely bad and thought that this must be incredibly difficult to make good again. And with the work she has done on my breasts, I would call her an artist. Mette is therefore so skilled, and is passionate about doing the job properly, down to the smallest detail. She has operated on her breasts to make them the finest breasts I have ever seen. So the right shape, fullness and not least correctly proportioned for my body. So much better than I had hoped for. I can't thank Mette enough, and I'm so glad I chose her. If you're ever going to have surgery, for God's sake, choose quality over quantity. With Mette you get quality. It costs what it costs, but you get even more for your money by doing it right away. It is so worth it to actually invest a little extra money in an operation that you will spend on your own body and well-being, and get quality right away rather than possibly going bang after bang that means you end up having to pay for both that and that it needs to be fixed at a later date. Now, for my part, it has been almost 5 weeks after the operation, the scars on the breasts have healed a lot already, and they both look and feel very good! Last year I underwent an operation at the Academy Clinic. The surgeon who performed the operation was Mette Haga. My conclusion is that Mette does not seem to have a good understanding of aesthetics or follow-up of her patients. Today I am left with ugly scars, various nipples and still pain due to an infection in one breast that I had to deal with for several months. Due to the pain in my chest, I visited another surgeon (also in Norway) for an assessment. I showed pictures and explained what I had been through. He was not impressed with the result or the follow-up at Mette or the Academy Clinic. I would definitely not recommend her to anyone. There are many other, far more skilled surgeons in Norway. This was not the first time I underwent an aesthetic operation, so I have some experience with such interventions. Steer clear of her and this clinic.... (Show more)

Very little difference before and after the operation. Almost no difference after chin liposuction. Was going to get fat grafting for more prominent cheekbones. Fairly disappointed as it was a lot of money for next to nothing. Didn't pay many tens of thousands to look almost exactly the same afterwards. The preliminary investigations are also too quick and too little detailed. Only found out after the operation that my dental position would affect the result Wasted money.
