Miss Lorna Smith
Meet Lorna the Business Owner/Medical Director of Age Repair Aesthetic Clinic ⠀ Lorna is a Registered General Nurse and an Independent Nurse Prescriber ⠀ Lorna has spent 20 years in healthcare and the last 14 years in aesthetics. She trained and then specialised in Acute Care where she spent 7 years in the General Intensive Care Unit ⠀ Since leaving the NHS 5 years ago, whilst also working independently in aesthetics, she followed her dreams to open her own practice, the now known and recognised clinic Age Repair. ⠀ Lorna is very passionate about education in aesthetic medicine and has carried out over 55 paid courses as well as attending yearly updates, expert seminars, online webinars and various aesthetic medical conferences.She continues to spend a lot of her time reading journals and watching online webinars to make sure her skills and knowledge are always kept up to date. ⠀ Lorna also has a particular interest in the general health and wellbeing of people and has completed extra training in mental health and nutrition as she feels this is an important role within aesthetic medicine. Although Lorna comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience she is a real people person, down to earth and whose regular loyal patients always look forward to seeing and chatting with each visit. Outside of work you'll find Lorna always looking for ways to expand her portfolio and satisfy her entrepreneurial drive. Ms Vikki Schoeman
Vikki qualified as a nurse in 2007 at Southampton University School of Nursing and Midwifery, completing her three year Diploma in adult nursing. She has been working at Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust for the last 14 years in the Cardiothoracic department. She has been in her current role as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Thoracic surgery which she has been doing for the last 6 years. As part of this role Vikki was required to complete a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice, and it was in this qualification in which she gained her pharmacology and independent nurse prescribing qualification. Along side this Vikki works at Age Repair as a qualified nurse and independent nurse prescriber who has slowly and safely been mentored by Lorna and works part time in the clinic alongside the NHS for the last 5 years. Vikki joined the Age repair team in 2016 after completing the foundation training in Anti-Wrinkle and Dermal Fillers, amongst many other courses both face to face and online, in order to not only improve on her techniques, but to learn and keep abreast of new and innovative practices and advances in aesthetic medicine, making a conscious effort to further consolidate her knowledge in Aesthetics and to ensure she continues to be a safe and conscientious Aesthetic Nurse Vikki is fully trained in the Obagi Skincare range, Mesotherapy and more recently the amazing fat dissolving injections Aqualyx. Vikki is proud to be part of the Age Repair team/family and strives for excellence when helping patients to look and feel their best! Mrs Zoe Matthews
Zoe joined Age Repair in 2018 as the Skin Specialist. She comes with over 20 years' experience in the beauty industry. Including teaching and training student beauty therapists. Zoe gained her experience working in top prestigious beauty salons and spas treating the rich and famous, including Chewton Glen, Harvey Nichols, and Selfridges in London. She has also travelled the world with Virgin Atlantic as an inflight beauty therapist - her favourite destination being Hong Kong and star spotting back stage at "THE BRITS". Realising she wanted to focus specifically on skincare, she decided to work freelance with luxury skincare brands around the UK and Europe, as well as teaching college students in beauty therapy. Zoe is passionate about education and continues to further her knowledge by completing training in the medical brand Obagi and Aestheticare. Outside of work Zoe likes to spend time with her husband and two children and dog Marley, enjoying long forest walks and days to the beach. Miss Karen Chalmers
Karen only joined Age Repair in March 2021 but comes with a wealth of experience in customer service and sales. Just 3 months in she was quickly promoted to Reception Manager. Her background has predominantly been in the clinical field, along with over 15 years experience in managerial roles, working for large corporate organisations such as Vision Express, Transform Cosmetic Surgery Group (London/Fulham), National Slimming & Cosmetic Clinic (now known as The Slimming Clinic). Before starting with Age Repair Karen worked as a Compliance Officer working closely with regulatory bodies such as CQC/HIS/HIW. Traveling all over England, Scotland and Wales, auditing clinics to insure company operational and clinical standards were in place ready for inspection and registration. Karen's favourite things about Age Repair is working alongside her supportive team, learning all about the world of Aesthetic medicine, but most of all, getting to know and welcoming the varied Age Repair patients, new and existing. Her interests outside of work are running, yoga and travel. Interesting Fact - Karen has travelled to over 36 countries around the world.
Small but conveniently situated premises situated amongst a cluster of other businesses in a small industrial estate on the outskirts of Romsey. Staff are all very friendly & helpful. I became a client in September after an initial telephone enquiry which led on to making a booking for Body Ballancer sessions. Happy new year to you all. I am always happy to see Lorna and Karen, they always give me and my sister a very big warm welcome. The clinic is clean, sterile to its professional standards and smells amazing. Lorna is fantastic she always asks what areas you think that you need and then she will give her professional advice and the reasons why along with the outcomes including the length of time it will last and further treatments if needed. I had Derma fillers on the 21st December and I am totally delighted with the treatment, it has done what Lorna stated that it would, thank you so much and I look forward to seeing you in the year when I return to see family, keep up the good work guys you make us all feel special when we leave the clinic.... Vikki has ‘looked after me’ for a few years. She listens , she’s VERY professional & knowledgeable, is kind and gentle and the end result is ALWAYS WONDERFUL. After Care is great. Vikki has a delicious sense of humour.

I recently had Botox and lip filler with Hazel. I’m so pleased with the results - my face looks fresh and natural, and like me on a really, really good day….5 years ago! Hazel is so skilled and takes time and care to ensure that results are balanced and natural, but still a noticeable improvement. Me and my partner have been using Lorna & team at age repair for many years now. The service from as soon as you walk thru the door until you leave it amazing, the after care is also fantastic! Lorna is a qualified nurse & is the only person I would let anywhere near my face with needles ect. I have been a regular with Age Repair since it started up, only taking a break when I was pregnant and breastfeeding my son. I cannot say how brilliant they are… I would NEVER go anywhere else for my treatments and I never have. The girls are professional, fun and really know their stuff. They have a medical background so it’s all about quality products and quality service. If you are thinking of starting any aesthetic treatments I would highly recommend giving them a call and going for a consultation so they can talk you through it. Their recommendations always give the best results because quite simply, they are the best at what they do…. Oh and paying them a visit is likely to be the best decision you ever made!!!... I have been attending the clinic for around 8 months now, all I can say is what an amazing team, friends professional and extremely welcoming. I have attend several different clinics over the years but I have never revisited them as the service was poor and treatments were questionable. Age repair are head and shoulders above the rest , the staff really make an effort to ensure you are comfortable and really listen to what you want . It’s the small things that make such a difference for example I received a happy birthday email and 50 % off voucher of a facial treatment. the treatments are so reasonably priced and the after care service is great. If you are considering getting some work done, seriously look no further , don’t waste your time on other clinics I assure you you won’t be disappointed if you visit Age repair. Age Repair is a fantastic Clinic. Lorna and her staff are so nice and welcoming. Lorna is very knowledgeable and offers extremely competitive pricing for exceptional professional procedures. I have had many procedures Botox/fillers all with great results. They always take the time to explain everything that is being done, to put you at ease and will not offer procedures if they think they are not the best option for you.
