Dr Ed Lawson
He graduated with both a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology and Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of British Columbia in 1993. That same year, he purchased a satellite practice in Hope, BC and since then has grown and developed the practice into what it is today. In 2013, he relocated the office to Chilliwack, BC in the new retail setting of Eagle Landing and re-branded the practice as “Affinity Oral Care Centre”. His practice has always been focused on developing long-term, meaningful relationships with patients and co-workers since its inception. Pursuing education and keeping current with the latest developments and technology has always been important with Dr. Lawson. He has extensive training in orthodontics, implant dentistry, and Treatment for wrinkles Cosmetic procedures. Ms Rebecca Holmes
She completed her dental hygiene diploma at Regency Dental Hygiene Academy in August 2009. She has been working here as a dental hygienist since April 2010. Prior to dental hygiene, Rebecca gained knowledge and experience as a certified dental assistant for 3 years in Chilliwack. She strives to provide gentle, thorough care for all her patients and enjoys the variety of people she meets on a daily basis.
Ms Janet Phoenix
She has been working at our office since 2004. Our patients and staff always appreciate her warm attitude and enthusiastic smile. Janet’s initial experience in the dental field was gained as a dental assistant before settling down to raise her children. She enjoys many activities in her spare time. Janet is a third degree black belt in the Isshin-ryu style of Karate. She also loves walking her dogs, running, gardening and spending time with her family.
I went in for a quick ct scan and was told it would take 5min. I was seen quickly and told after that it would be another 5min for the picture. Twenty minutes went by and I asked how much longer it would be, as my kids were getting restless. I was told another 5min. Again that passed, and still nothing. I asked again and they told me the image was still loading and asked if I wanted to come back. At this point, I was quite frustrated because I could have left initially had I been told it would take so long. When I asked how much longer it would be, they finally admitted that they did not know. Had they told me this from the beginning, I would have gone to get my kids some food and then come back, but since they kept increasing the wait time by 5min increments, I ended up wasting close to 30min. Thank you for the manager Mary Anne contacting me three weeks after it happened. She apologized to me and kept asking me to move on. She also mentioned that the only thing they could do for me was make an appointment with another hygienist. This dental cleaning service experience was very poor. This hygienist was very rude to patients and lacks the patience to provide teeth cleaning services. After I explained the feeling to her, she immediately questioned and refuted my words loudly. She seemed to think there was nothing wrong with the way she treated her patients and didn't care at all about their patients' opinions.... (Show more)
Glad I chose Affinity Dental Clinic for my dental needs! I wanted to give props to the staff for being friendly and welcoming! Special props to Dr. Louie and his assistant, ((didn’t get her name)) for working on my wisdom teeth extraction! Yeah the pain sucks, but the whole thing was a breeze!
Dr Jain and the staff are always amazing. They always make me feel very comfortable and explain everything very clearly. Even my daughter loves going for cleanings!

Awesome people. They did an awesome job. My broken molar was extracted within 20 mins.
Excellent experience, called on short notice with a broken tooth and they managed to get me an appointment right away. The young ladies at reception were very pleasant and cooperative and Dr. Louie and his assistant quickly fixed the problem. Great place and great service!

I have been coming to the clinic for almost 3 years now and the experience has always been amazing. Dr. Soumya Jain is very kind and patient and she has always made sure that I am comfortable during the dental procedures. All the other staff members are very supportive and helpful as well. This was by far the best dental experience i have ever had. The staff are lively, kind, warm and welcoming. This appointment was stress free, and educational!
I booked cleaning appointments on the following Thursday and the receptionist called to remind as the wrong date. When I trying to switch the diagnosis date they are using a very wired tone replying normally they have a fine for removing appointments. I have never to notice that removing an appointment by their mistake would be charging extra fine before at any other clinic before. Really disappointed!... (Show more)

Took my 85 year old mother for denture adjustment. She is unwell and frail. The staff at Affinity were fantastic with her. And we are very pleased with the results. A very positive experience!
