With all due respect, I'm looking for a doctor to wash my teeth.

I accompanied my best friend Merybeth for her scheduled procedures multiple times. I saw and witnessed their conduct and professionalism especially to Dr Christian Manuel. I told him that on our next overseas trip in the Philippines, I would definitely engage them in my dental requirements and he was very appreciative and gave me a beautiful token. And lastly, worth noting that your bathroom is super clean and perfect!!! Lucy Tandingan-Radcliffe New Zealand... (Show more)

Thank you very much Dr. Christian Aaron Manuel for all my dental procedures (dental crown, filling and cleaning). I am so happy with the outcome even almost everyday i went to your clinic from 29th Nov to 17th Dec. You’re so skillful in your profession. You’re so patient in writing my procedures report for my insurance claim. Also Dr. Trisha, she did my wisdom tooth extraction. I did not feel any pain, fantastic! The price is right. The other staff are all welcoming and kind. It’s all worth. I highly recommend this dental clinic here and abroad.... (Show more)

Let me share my 1st experience here at this dental clinic . I have booked my appointment just for deep cleaning scheduled recently 20th of July. I called the clinic to confirm my schedule and how much is for deep cleaning so she told me it starts at 1800 pesos depending on the severity of the case. So I went to the clinic for my appointment I have met the receptionist and doc Ana she seems nice. She ask me what do I want for my teeth or f I have problems/ concern regarding my teeth. I just told her to just do the deep cleaning thats it. no more any other procedures. I believe that I have told her and pretty clear about it' she's aware regarding of that matter. Fast forward. After the "cleaning session " I went to the lobby and ask this receptionist how much is it for the cleaning she told me to sit first and wait .so I am kinda bit suspicious why is taking so long to tell me how much it would cost. I was so surprised for the price they charged me 16, 100 PESOS you see the difference? I came there for deep cleaning and little didn't know they charged me for that huge amount I ask them why they did charge me and "as always" every professional response for doctors ofc' they did dental filling, oral prophylaxis and some other things that I dont even know. And during the cleaning I thought everything what she did for my teeth are a part of the cleaning she DIDNT EVEN TOLD ME THAT OKAY WE'RE DONE CLEANING YOUR TEETH IF YOU WANT TO PROCEED WE HAVE TO REMOVE YOUR CAVITY OR SO ON AND FORT BUT ITS GONNA COST YOU MORE OR HERE ARE THE PRICES FOR THIS PROCEDURE. I HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING FROM HER REGARDING THE PRICES SHE DIDNT DISCLOSE IT TO ME. I HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW AND TO DECIDE IF I WANT TO PROCEED OR NOT. BUT INSTEAD SHE KEPT GOING AND JUST EXPLAINED TO ME THE PROCESS BUT NOT MENTIONING THE PRICE BCOZ I THOUGHT IT WAS APART OF THE WHOLE PROCESS. WE TALKED TO HER IN A POLITE MANNER AND SHOW SOME RESPECT. I JUST WANTED THEM TO KNOW IN THE FUTURE BFOR UNDERGOING TO ANY PROCEDURES THEY SHOULD LET THE CLIENT BE NOTIFIED EVERYTIME THE DENTIST DOING SOME KIND OF PROCEDURES ESPECIALLY IF THEY WILL COST THEM HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY . WHAT IF THERE's SOME NEW CLIENTS ONLY HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONEY THEY JUST COME THERE FOR WHATEVER REASON. HOW -ARE THEY GOING TO PAY THE CLINIC F THAT CLIENT ISNT AWARE THAT THIS CLINIC CHARGE THEM IN A HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY. HOW ARE THEY GOING TO PAY THAT AND ITS DONE? ?? PLEASE NXT TYM OR IN THE FUTURE LET THE CLIENT KNOW WHATS GOING ON. I DONT MIND PAYING 16,000PESOS IF I KNOW THE PRICES AND DISCLOSE IT . YOU'RE THE DENTIST YOU ARE MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE THAN THE CLIENT WHO BARELY KNOW ABOUT DENTAL CLEANING. PLEASE BE AWARE. I AM SO DISSAPPOINTED ABOUT THE SITUATION AND THEY NVER X RAY MY MOUTH IF IT IS SEVERE OR NOT THEYRE JUST DIGGING SOME PARTS OF MY TEETH THAT THEY SAID HAD A CAVITY BUT I CANT EVEN SEE IT BCOZ THEY DIDNT CONDUCT X RAY. STILL THANKS TO THE DENTIST WHO CLEAN MY TEETH. THIS IS JUST AN EYE OPENER TO THOSE DOCTORS PLS DONT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR CLIENT. WE HAVE TALK TO HER SHE KNOWS IT.... (Show more)

MJ Monton - 2 years ago - Review Provided by Google Maps

Dear Ms. Monton, As part of the cleaning process, it is part of the dentist’s professional responsibility to inform you of the caries or cavities that are visible with the naked eye (no x-ray needed). The two dentists and the dental assistant that attended to you could attest that you were clearly told about the multiple cavities/caries and asked you if you wanted them restored. The dentist even showed you the caries with a mirror. You said yes without asking how much the cost is. IN GOOD FAITH, THE DENTIST PROCEEDED WITH THE RESTORATION AFTER YOU AGREED TO PROCEED. For you to say that you assumed the multiple dental fillings are part of the P 1,800 cleaning is PREPOSTEROUS AND RIDICULOUS. We take offense in your statement that we take advantage of patients. We never ever do anything without the patients consent. Cleanings and multiple dental fillings for P 16,100 is not an amount enough for us to risk our reputation and integrity. Thank you.

Taking care of our children’s dental hygiene & tooth grow, essential for well-chewed foods & primary nutrient intake, makes them happily smiling with confidence as a strong part of their mental & social development, preparing to master their future. A big thank you to Dr. Trisha del Mundo & Dr. Ana Mindana for diagnosing my sons’ front tooth & building it up again for a big & happy smile at your good clinic. Healthy smiles for happy children 😊... (Show more)

I recently visited Affinity Dental Clinic for a cleaning procedure, and I had a great experience. The staff was friendly and professional, and the clinic was clean and modern. The cleaning itself was thorough, and I left with a fresh and clean feeling. I highly recommend Affinity Dental Clinic for your dental needs!

I have been visiting Affinity Dental Clinics in Makati for about a year now, originally having found them on line I made the appointment to have a couple of crowns fitted. Although in the end I was only able to have one done, due to time constraints, I found them to be an excellent dental clinic. From the time I made my first email enquiry they have been extremely professional and it must be said the service is second to none. Following my initial consultation with Dr Christian I have since returned on a recent trip to Manila from Melbourne, Australia to have a clean, accompanied by my wife and son, who also had a clean. The clinic is well located a 10 minute walk from Greenbelt, and is very reasonably priced. I will be visiting again for additional treatments and cleans when I next visit Manila.... (Show more)

The staff and the Doctor are very nice. She explained everything to me before doing the procedure. Kinda expensive but I think it is worth it.

Extremely unprofessional, don’t bring your kid to here to waste your time and money. On the end of December, the female dentist found my 10-years-old daughter has an abscess, didn’t do any treatment on it, just tell us to come back later. 2 weeks later, we come back again, the female dentist ask me if my daughter can take antibiotic (I just wonder why a doctor ask patient’s parent this kind of question?), I asked her how many days she need to take, she answered 7 days, but the abscess might happen again. I told her we take antibiotic and fix it then take antibiotic then fix it, is any way to stop the abscess. I think the female dentist in Affinity is not profession enough for kids(she even not sure if she can pull out 10 years old kid’s teeth or not) The dentist didn’t give us a good recommend to fix the abscess problem. We’re lucky to find a really good pediatric in other clinic with 30 years experience, she just pull out my daughter’s baby tooth then fix the problem of causing abscess. She clearly answer all my questions I really suggest foreigner don’t come here, because I find out during our visit, they only can do easy teeth cleaning and filling. The doctor claim she pull a lot pediatric teeth before, but when I ask if she can pull my 10 years old daughter teeth, she said she needs to ask her Colleague. She asks me if I bring the x-ray, I told her you should have a digital x-ray file. I just wonder if she really review the x-ray before she talk to me. Everything she did just shows the unprofessionalism. You can find a better place… Although you explain so much, you still not explain why do you need to ask your colleague if you can pull out a 10 years old child’s teeth or not, you even not watch the x ray until I told you to do so, I really want to know what did we do and say to let you feel I’m rude and insult… You said you tried to save the teeth? I was not asking to pull her teeth in the beginning, I just ask if my daughter take the antibiotic still can’t fix the abscess(this is what you told me), can she just pull her teeth out. I was surprise a dentist doesn’t know that, after she asked her college, she said yes, I can pull out for her, but I said just do it next time, don’t pull out today. When I ate lunch around, my Taiwanese dentist friend with more than 30 years’ experience response after he saw the xray, he told me you should pull the teeth as soon as possible (because it will affect the new teeth comes out), so I came back again told the doctor you can pull it out now, but she refuse to do so and said I am rude and insult her. The other day I found a really good dentist(also with 30 years experience), she recommend to pull the teeth out and problem solve. I recommend your dentist review the X-ray file first instead of asking the X-ray from parents. Again don’t listen to them and don’t waste time and money there… The follow picture is the cavities baby teeth they claim they try to save(she even don't know there is one cavity on the baby teeth....) But if you really want to clean your teeth, they are good at it ....... (Show more)

The abscessed tooth was a result of crowning the tooth without performing proper pulpotomy by your previous dentist in Taiwan. We cannot do the same even if you demand it. Our dentist noticed the abscess while performing sealants on your daughter and informed your wife about it. You came back to the clinic demanding that we pull out the tooth immediately. The dentist wanted to save the tooth by addressing the abscess with antibiotics first rather than pulling it. You must also note that anesthesia may not take effect on an abscessed tooth. You became rude, dictated the course of treatment and insulted the dentist. It was at this point that the dentist refused to continue any treatment. Please note that the dentist will only perform what is always best for your daughter. We do not tolerate derogatory insults and abusive scandalous behavior in our clinic. We are glad that you have found another dentist. We also hope that this reply sets the record straight. Thank you.

Hi. Our infection control fee is P 300. It is not only the disposable plastic covers of the chairs and equipment but includes the disposable PPEs of patient and staff. If you do not appreciate our measures to ensure your safety, you are free to choose another healthcare facility. Also, please note that Level 1 means COVID is still a pandemic. Thank you. Stay safe.

The doctor was rude. He asked foreigners for an exorbitant price. He gave me a price of 72,000 peso for 4 wisdom teeth.

manila Vincent - 2 years ago - Review Provided by Google Maps

Hello. First of all, please note that our pricing is standard regardless if your are a foreigner or a local. Price ranges increase depending on difficulty or severity of case. Second, please note that the quoted price of P 72,000 is for the surgical extraction of 4 wisdom teeth or an average cost of only P 18,000 per wisdom tooth. You are free to compare this price with other oral surgeons. Third, you were not coerced to proceed with surgery. You were informed prior to surgery of the cost. No surprises and no misrepresentation. Lastly, your review based only on a quotation which you did not even avail is not a fair rating of the quality of the service we could have provided you. Thank you.
