Brenda is the best acupuncturist I have ever seen. I've tried a couple in the past but found her to be the most knowledgeable, supportive, best value and professional. She is very understanding, kind and caring. She always provides first class treatment. I have attended other acupuncturists who were focused on upselling and insisted on more treatments than necessary. Brenda, however, is very practical and always aims to treat with the minimum amount of appointments necessary. I have had PCOS for a while with extremely irregular period from anywhere to 45 to 55 days cycles. Ever since i haven gone to Brenda, my cycle have regulated. I have never got regular periods before so this is 100% due to the acupuncture and herbs Brenda has put me on… i cannot thank her enough for it! On New Year’s Eve morning (just gone) my back/left shoulder just ‘snapped’ and when into immediate spasm. I was in agony, couldn’t sit or stand & thought I would lose the will to live with the pain. I found Brenda’s details online & when I phoned her, she recommended getting to a doctor ASAP for pain relief. She explained treating me that day would serve little purpose when the pain was so intense & the muscles so stressed. She offered to treat me next day (New Years day) after things settled a bit. I attended a doctor that afternoon who administered a pain injection & prescribed pain relief meds. I got some relief but was muscle spasm was still bad. Brenda opened her clinic for me on New Year’s Day. She used acupuncture, heat treatment & cupping and it was only after the treatment that the spasms finally stopped after 24hr continuous pain. I was so grateful to this kind lady (who, by the way, is pregnant on her 3rd child) for opening her clinic to treat me on a bank holiday. I have had follow up treatments to maintain wellness & help with the healing process. Brenda is a wonderful practitioner & she is so earnest & passionate about what she does. I recommend her 100%. Would highly recommend Brenda Ward Acupuncture. Having attending A&E with severe abdominal pain, all tests where inconclusive, a friend recommend I try acupuncture for digestive issues. After four treatments with Brenda I feel much better. My digestive issues have cleared up and as a bonus I have lost some weight which I have struggled with for a few years. When I first arrived at Brendas door I was totally fatigued and run down. Just one treatment gave me the lift I needed. I have continued to see Brenda once a month and I think her treatments are amazing. I always feel extremely relaxed immediately afterwards and my tolerance for stress in general is a lot higher. The epitome of professionalism, I cannot recommend Brenda highly enough. The effectiveness of her treatments is only matched by her passion for her job. I attended Brenda for induction and ended up having a very short labour and no pain relief all thanks to Brenda.
