Mr Matthew Montgomery
GradCert (Sports Physio); BSc (Physio); BERSc.The owner and senior therapist of Accent Physio. He holds Bachelor degrees in both Physiotherapy and Exercise Rehabilitation Science and is currently completing his Master of Sports Physiotherapy having already completed a Graduate Certificate of Sports Physiotherapy. Matthew has extensive experience in the fields of Injury Management, Corporate Health and Sports Physiotherapy and enjoys working with athletes competing at both social and elite levels at a variety of sports. As part of his Master of Sports Physiotherapy Matthew has completed over 100 hours of Advanced Clinical Practice at the Fremantle Dockers Football Club and the WACA and his resume includes working with Tennis Australia (Hopman Cup), the South Sydney Rabbitohs, the Australian Women’s Floorball Team, the West Australian Ballet, WA Hockey, WA Volleyball, the Football Association of Singapore (Soccer), Hale Hockey Club, Coastal Titan’s Women’s Football Club, Stirling Senator’s Women’s State Basketball League Team, the Rottnest Channel Swim and Avon Decent.
Ms Laini Ash
BSc (Physio) Laini has been an enthusiastic member of the Accent Physiotherapy team since 2011, where she has worked to build close relationships with staff as well as clients in her physiotherapy and administrative assistant roles. She obtained her Physiotherapy qualifications from Curtin University, and has broad experience with many sports. In particular, Laini has a keen interest for dance where she has been a Knightcorp Dancer for the Perth Wildcats over the last 4 years and continues to train in acrobatics and modern dance. Ms Rebecca Archibald
BSc (Masters of Physiotherapy); BSc (Exercise and Sports Science) Rebecca combines her background in private practice and corporate health to deliver a holistic treatment for our clientele, whether that is restoring patients to their full functional capacity after injury, or managing ongoing conditions. She graduated from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science) and completed her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2012. As well as rehabilitative work, Rebecca aligns closely with Accent’s sport and performance background and objectives, having held positions as a sporting & head trainer for a variety of clubs for over 5 years. Fantastic results. Came here post-shoulder injury and surgery due to slow recovery. Did roughly half a dozen sessions with Rebecca. Very knowledgable, experienced, professional, friendly, and dedicated (even when I'd be the last patient of the evening). Knew how to specifically diagnose my problem and exactly what needed to be done to fix it. Through an individualised strength and stretching program, including massage therapy, as well as providing me with thorough education, I've returned to full functioning of the shoulder.
