Highly recommended. Dra. Menchie is sympathetic and shows concern, unlike other doctors who just go through the motions of a procedure. The offices are clean and spacious. She has the most high-tech equipment I’ve seen in an ophtha. She and her staff doctors are pleasant to deal with. It’s easy to book an appointment. Abesamis Eye Care in Medical Plaza, Makati: where care and professionalism meet — this was my experience when I visited them last November 2022. I visited the clinic as I was having double vision, intense headaches, and blurring eyes. Doc Abesamis herself approached me and was very thorough and comprehensive in checking the condition of my eyes and teaching me how to take care of them. Dr. Abesamis, the other Doctors and all the staff at the Center are truly excellent. Due to an eye condition, I was treated by another wonderful Optometrist in New York (Dr. Michael Nissen) over several years. I didn’t believe I could find someone on a par with him in Manila or anywhere else, so I am delighted that Dr. Abesamis is not only as knowledgeable and up to date with all the latest developments in the field, but was also very generous with her time in analyzing my condition and patiently explaining everything to me. I also purchased a new pair of transition/progressive glasses, updated a pair of reading glasses, and even tried contact lenses; I am very happy with all of these. The Center is perfectly located for me, and the equipment is world-class and surprisingly even more modern than New York. Very professional and appreciative staff. They were more concerned with helping me to understand the health of my eyes and what I could do to maintain such health more so than trying to just sell me prescription glasses. Doctors are very accomodating and you can tell they are experienced. Clean clinic and building has parking space (basement parking). Definitely an excellent eye clinic.
